In this forward stratigraphic modeling work, a workflow with uncertainty analysis of the Barremian-Aptian source rocks of the rift environment in the south of the Campos basin was applied. DionisosFlow® and CougarFlow® software (Beicip-Franlab) were used for forward modeling and sensitivity and uncertainty analysis, respectively.
After establishing a reference scenario with values consistent with the conceptual model and information from wells and seismic data, ten thousand scenarios were generated with the intention of evaluating the effect of the main geological controls on the source rock thickness and quality.
