Beicip-Franlab is a world leading consulting company, renowned for its technical excellence, providing services and software allowing our customers to improve their understanding of the subsurface to tackle a wide range of challenges in the domains of Oil & Gas, CO2 storage and geothermal energy. Our company is seeking a Petrophysicist to join the Reservoir Geology team to support the development of its consulting activities.
As a Junior Petrophysicist Consultant, you will be expected to work in integrated project teams composed of experienced geophysicists, geologists and reservoir engineers. You will carry out all tasks related to logs interpretation, electrofacies, rock-typing and fluid contacts definition, using market leading software such as Techlog, Geolog, DSPetro, as well as Beicip proprietary software EasyTraceTM.
The successful candidate must have basic knowledge of petrophysics workflows. Programming skills would be a plus, as well as academic knowledge in other geoscience domains, such as geomechanics, geomodelling or sedimentology.
You will be based at Beicip-Franlab headquarters in France (Paris area) with opportunities to travel abroad.
