Carbon Management
Reducing the carbon footprint of operations is an objective of key importance for the Oil and Gas industry.
GHG emissions of the Upstream sector consist in three main types. The most important source of emissions is linked with venting or fugitive emissions of methane. These emissions are often not well known and not easy to evaluate. The second source of GHG emissions is linked with the generation of the energy required to operate installations. These emissions are better known, their reduction goes along with energy efficiency solutions and use of less carbon intensive energy on sites. The third source of GHG is due to gas flaring.
Beicip-Franlab helps its clients elaborate actual solutions to reduce their emissions and manage optimally their carbon footprint.
