This version is still supported for Windows 7 and Linux RH6 and is now compatible with Windows 10 too. The license management tools which are included in the distribution have been upgraded and a new license file is required to run the application. DionisosFlowTM, TemisFlowTM, CougarFlowTM
Explorationists will find within the OpenFlow Suite the most complete suite of applications to understand and model petroleum systems, from forward stratigraphic modeling with DionisosFlow to basin modeling with TemisFlow, both applications being linked to CougarFlow for sensitivity and risk analysis.
DionisosFlow 2017 is a major version in terms of ergonomics and efficiency with, in particular, a totally reviewed, objective-oriented and easy to use interface. The main development of this 2017 release consists indeed in a new and customizable interface depending on the objectives of the study and users needs. In addition to this big change, several modules have been improved, always with the goal to reduce the time spent to build, calibrate and analyze stratigraphic models.
After many new functionalities and modules answering users needs these past years, TemisFlow 2017 is primarily a consolidation version bringing stability and performance. Several developments have indeed been reviewed in terms of ergonomics and efficiency and even though this revision will continue in the near future, TemisFlow 2017 is already a big step towards a smoother user experience. TemisFlow also keeps reinforcing its calculators strengths for Darcy migration with the integration of new numerical schemes answering users feedback on physics accuracy, which is always at the heart of the software.
Finally, CougarFlow 2017 offers more flexibility in the definition of the uncertain parameters, giving the possibility to select the initial bathymetry in DionisosFlow and to add an uncertainty on a local point of a curve.
OpenFlow Suite provides advanced solutions for the description of complex or fractured reservoirs.
In EasyTrace 2017, enhancements are focused on data management. In particular, import and export functionalities for the main data formats have been improved for better user experience and time efficiency. The Rock Type Classification application also benefits from several enhancements.
FracaFlow is the most advanced package available on the market for fractured reservoir characterization, modeling and dynamic calibration. FracaFlow delivers accurate models for the most advanced and demanding dual medium reservoir simulators. This 2017 version offers a major improvement in the sub-seismic faults characterization and modeling including a new fault generation algorithm based on the center distance method. It has the advantage to better respect the length law and the fractal distribution. Another highlight is the decorrelation of the length and the drawing of the fractal dimension.
PVTFlowTM, PumaFlowTM, CougarFlowTM
OpenFlow Suite also offers a full suite of applications for the simulation of the most challenging reservoirs. PumaFlow simulator is the main module of this family and his perfectly backed by complementary modules: PVTFlow creates fluid models from laboratory data and CougarFlow increases analysis potential thanks to uncertainty management and assisted history matching functionalities.
Pumaflow is a reservoir simulator with black oil and compositional options compatible with all IOR and EOR processes like fluid injection, chemical EOR and thermal EOR. It allows working indifferently at lab scale, pilot scale, or full field scale bringing to the market a truly multi-scale multi-purpose solution into a single calculator. PumaFlow 2017 meets three main objectives:
extend simulation domain to well completions by modelling Inflow Control Devices;
Improve the software ergonomics in order to save time during the study;
Offer new functionalities in pre and post-processing to build better models.
Many improvements have been made to achieve this goal and make PumaFlow a robust and operational tool for reservoir simulation.
PVTFlow 2017 consists mainly in improving existing features and offers a few new additions. With these new facilities and features, PVTFlow 2017 is continuing to work its way into becoming a go-to EOS engineering tool.
In CougarFlow 2017, many improvements have been integrated regarding data import/export, such as simulation results and the objective function management.
