Building the next-generation solution for hydrocarbon system assessment
The Temis++ project is an ambitious software development initiative launched in early 2007 by the IFP group. It aims at offering the E&P industry innovative solutions for quantitative evaluation of petroleum systems. Dedicated to meeting the increasingly demanding needs of exploration teams for successfully exploring more challenging petroleum systems, the Temis++ project will increase the present solution's capability by tenfold. This will be made possible by embedding validated research innovations (e.g.: simulator operating on unstructured meshes, algorithm for modeling sedimentary processes, etc.) in the new OpenFlowTM geosciences software platform.
The Temis++ project deliverable, aka the TemisFlowTM application, will effectively contribute to enhancing explorationists’ understanding of structurally more complex sedimentary basins as well as accounting, in their assessment, for more complex processes to control quantity and quality of hydrocarbon accumulations. Furthermore, apart from granting access and openness to and from third-party applications, as well as offering synergies between them, OpenFlowTM , brings user friendliness and learning curves to a new level.
Temis++ stratigraphy study
The TemisFlowTM industrial software will be released once a year during the project's duration with a first commercial release on April 2009. With this initial deliverable, benefit can be had of the attention that has been paid to optimizing and easing each step from data gathering to result exploitation.
Should you wish to make use of these innovations on your own data set and gain expertise through sharing experiences with other partners, or should you wish to propose solutions answering your specific needs, then you are most welcome to join and contact us.
